When I set up our thankful tree, I wasn't sure if it would be a hit with the kids or not.  I have been pleasantly surprised by how much they love it!  Just as they enjoyed being able to paint the leaves, they now enjoy picking out the leaf they want to write on.  We've had quite an array of thankfulness from being thankful for a warm house, good food, and mommy and daddy, to being thankful for their toys and "when I don't have to clean up at clean up time."  This is going to be a new yearly tradition for us!

We had a wonderful time at the Waldorf holiday bazzaar today.  Daddy and Sophie made an ornament for our tree!

This clown costume was mine as a child.  Before it was mine, it was Uncle Mark's.  Before that, I believe it was my cousin Tracie's.  It's nice to see it having a new life, yet again!

We are getting a head start on homemade Christmas presents this year!

We had an amazing time, as always, at Cranbrook for our forces and motion program.  Sophie and Jason sat on the ends of the lever.

We finally got around to celebrating The Day of the Dead.  We honored our Uncle Georgie with Kibbeh, and my cat with rainbow trout.

And we honored Grandma Jurk by making her special custard for dessert!
