We had fun at the Sterling Heights Nature Center this morning.
Here is Sophie looking at a snake. (She has socks on her hands... because why not?!)
Jason and his best friend looking at some frogs.
Sophie tickling the wood turtle to make it go!
The naturalist had two turtles race.
Which one can flip over faster? The box turtle on the left or the wood turtle on the right?
Yay for the wood turtle!
Jason feeling the turtles.
And both of them touching a snake.
And trying it on!
So fun!
We braved the rain outside to learn about how to identify Michigan's state tree, the White Pine.
Sophie and her friend at the nearby playground.
Actually proof that they will sit still at the same time when they think no one is looking.
They were up and running moments later.
