We biked 2 miles to the Troy Historical Museum and Village, and two miles back. It was well worth it. Jason and Sophie had a great time playing in the Town Hall, and it was musical picnic day with a fiddler and guitarist playing music while we ate.
I also figured out George O'Clark used to own our land. We live in number 10.
Isn't she just adorable!

After a nice weekend in Traverse City, we decided to finish it with a stop off in East Lansing at the MSU Children's Gardens. Wow! We had an amazing time!
Here's Dave and Jason sitting with another little boy reading a book.
Even Sophie liked him.
Peter Rabbit's coat and shoes hanging in Mr. McGregor's garden.
Jason feeling the 'sensitive plant'. It closes when you touch it. Mr. McMillan would love this!
Daddy and Jason spotting some turtles.
Sophie playing in the dinosaur sandbox.
Jason spinning around making the fountain frogs spit water.
The beautiful view. Wow!
Jason entering the Alice in Wonderland maze.
The Mad Hatter.
Who knew we'd find giraffes at the gardens, too. Here's Daddy feeding one.
Sophie riding in the train.
And Jason, too.
Sophie liked the climbers.
Jason liked the crayon colors garden.

It rained a little, so we headed to the Great Lakes Children's Museum right near our marina.
Jason is trying to catch fish in a river projected on the floor.
Sophie peering into the tunnel.
The water table was a big hit.
Sophia enjoyed the 2 and under room with the mirror.
She even crawled in the large climber....
... but not without mom close behind.
Grandpa and Jason had a great time in the car wash.
Definitely a great place for a rainy day!
