Our 4th butterfly...

Even Daddy got to hold it before we set it free!

And our fifth and final butterfly, we shared with some friends.

Sophie and Adriana had a great time looking at it.

Thanks to Debbie for the wonderful experience raising our monarchs!

We biked 2 miles to the Troy Historical Museum and Village, and two miles back. It was well worth it. Jason and Sophie had a great time playing in the Town Hall, and it was musical picnic day with a fiddler and guitarist playing music while we ate.

I also figured out George O'Clark used to own our land. We live in number 10.

Isn't she just adorable!

We released a butterfly this morning. Here's Jason holding it before it could fly.

Even Sophie liked it!

She was amazed when it was crawling up her arm.

It crawled up to Jason's chin.

He really enjoyed playing with it.

Then we put it on the cosmos in our sunflower house.

After a nice weekend in Traverse City, we decided to finish it with a stop off in East Lansing at the MSU Children's Gardens. Wow! We had an amazing time!

Here's Dave and Jason sitting with another little boy reading a book.

Even Sophie liked him.

Peter Rabbit's coat and shoes hanging in Mr. McGregor's garden.

Jason feeling the 'sensitive plant'. It closes when you touch it. Mr. McMillan would love this!

Daddy and Jason spotting some turtles.

Sophie playing in the dinosaur sandbox.

Jason spinning around making the fountain frogs spit water.

The beautiful view. Wow!

Jason entering the Alice in Wonderland maze.

The Mad Hatter.

Who knew we'd find giraffes at the gardens, too. Here's Daddy feeding one.

Sophie riding in the train.

And Jason, too.

Sophie liked the climbers.

Jason liked the crayon colors garden.

We had a great time at the beach, too. Sophie loves to play in the sand.

Jason built a sand castle.

Grandma and Grandpa on their boat!

The beautiful view!

Grandma and Sophie playing.

Sophie's favorite thing to do on the boat... If she's on deck, she wants down, if she's down, she wants up!

It's our 6th anniversary. Every year, just as Grammy and Grandpa Bob did, we take a snapshot. So here's our yearly photos.

After going out to dinner at Mission Table, sans kids (thank you Grandma and Grandpa) we went up to the Mission Point Lighthouse and watched the sun set.

It rained a little, so we headed to the Great Lakes Children's Museum right near our marina.

Jason is trying to catch fish in a river projected on the floor.

Sophie peering into the tunnel.

The water table was a big hit.

Sophia enjoyed the 2 and under room with the mirror.

She even crawled in the large climber....

... but not without mom close behind.

Grandpa and Jason had a great time in the car wash.

Definitely a great place for a rainy day!
