We went to a tour at The Parade Company. They put on the Detroit Thanksgiving Day parade.
We got to feel the fur of the lion on the Wizard of Oz float.
And see how they drive the floats on the inside.

Their costume material board was a great textural experience.
The kids even got to get up on a float!
